Why use restaurant.com?

If you have dinner with at least one other person and you dine-in at lunch or eat out at dinner often and spend at least $25-$40 each time...you need to click on my link to restaurant.com to your right. Or go directly to restaurant.com and avoid my shameless plug for the affiliate advertisement to the right...but whatever you do, use restaurant.com if you eat at any of their advertised restaurants! Why? The website is free for one...and you get $25 gift certificates for $10. That's an INSTANT 40% off! There's no cost to ship these babies because you can print them online from your account. It's THAT easy. Okay - still not convinced? Alright, alright. How about this...what if I tell you how I got a $25 coupon for $4? Crazy you say? Crazy not...I broke it down today after a girlfriend didn't believe me:

I bought the following:
$25.00 Restaurant.com CERTIFICATE(s)
Quantity: 6
Price Each: $10.00
Price Total: $60.00

Apply then valid 60% off sale to purchase price of $60; New total becomes: $24

New purchase price of $24 divided by quantity of $25 gift certificates(6) I bought:

................................ $4

There you go folks. To find out codes for restaurant.com, search online discount sites (i.e. DealCatcher.com, DealTaker.com) for on-going specials (or just subscribe to restaraunt.com's emails).

*disclaimer: Before you go spending all your money, PLEASE DO READ THE FINE PRINT in the gift certificates that you do buy before purchasing. There ARE requirements. For those who do your research and read the fine print, you will be richly rewarded. My comments in the beginning were very important...some require parties of 2 or more. Some require spending a minimum of $40 to get $25 off. It's still a deal. But please don't do what I did - I didn't read the fine print and thought that a chain restaurant would honor another location's coupon. The coupon is good ONLY for that location unless otherwise specified (or at the owner's discretion). If are worried whether a coupon will work or not, please call ahead to restaurants you find on restaurant.com's list and ease your mind. It's what I do everytime before I buy, well, except for that one time. Be smart so you can eat cheap. :) It's worth the effort.

Enjoy!

Fish Grill - on La Palma

Man, isn't that always the case? When you start reading a new blog, you end up reading a thousand new ones? I just keep clicking on the links in the comments section and the world just gets smaller and smaller...

Anyway - back to Fish Grill on La Palma in Orange County...I'd write about it but I haven't eaten there yet. My co-worker promises to take me there cuz she loves it so much...I'm gonna keep her to her promise since this food critic just raved about it today. How can so many people be so wrong? It's just got to be great...if you like Fish - go to this post to read up on Fish Grill that seems to have great cajun fish and fries.

New blog is called: MEalCentric

Found a new blog!

oooh, I spent a good 20 minutes just going through various posts in this blog...unable to pull my eyes away because they were getting so hungry reading! I went looking for Hakata Ramen in Fountain Valley and found this blog (exact design background as mine, so don't get confused, haha - right). You'll notice the difference right away.

This person's been to many restaurants I've been wanting to go to and ones I've tried. I just post what I like to eat (or don't like to eat) but this person is more like a critic giving eloquent evaluations of food and service along with the cost of their bill! Now that's what I like to see. Check it out (Orange County, CA/Los Angeles, CA)...it's got a little bit of everything...
